Itinerary
8.00am: Depart Kuala Lumpur for the countryside…
9.30am: Visit a coconut plantation to watch coconut tree climbers moving from tree to tree on mere ropes to harvest a unique drink – the coconut wine (Toddy). Toddy is a health drink that cleanses the urethral and liver systems. Fresh toddy is served.
11.30am: Carey Island is an oil palm plantation, home of the Mah (people) Meri (forest) aborigine tribe who were sea gypsies. They excelled in Wood Carvings depicting rich mythological meanings with spiritual connections which are world class. This tradition is handed down from father to son. A walk through the Mah Meri village is exhilarating.
1.00pm: Visit a typical Malay home for a herbal garden tour of traditional plants for blood pressure, cancer, diabetes and other ailments.
A delicious home cooked meal is served and the hospitality is awesome.
3.00pm: Drive past scenic villages and houses on stilts with photo stops along the way. We arrive in Kuala Lumpur at approximately 5pm.
