Your day will begin with a pickup from your hotel before departing for the Kuala Lumpur Tower for a bird’s eye view of the City at 8am. It houses the telecommunication and meteorological stations and a revolving restaurant.
Visit the breath-taking Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps to reach the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam, who is honored during “Thaipusam” in January or February every year. You will also see his 42.7 m (140 foot) statue. Batu Caves is said to be one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India. Please be aware that you must be dressed appropriately to gain entrance in to the Temple.
Next you will visit a Pewter Factory with a guided tour on handcrafted souvenir items made out of tin, copper and antimony and Batik design Factory to see how hand drawn and block printing is done on cloth.
The Moorish designed Independent Square are under the Heritage Trust. St Mary’s Cathedral is in the vicinity and is the first Anglican Church with the Queen of England as the Patron.
You will then continue on for a Little India walkabout and Banana Leaf Lunch (enjoy eating with your fingers!) and complete the day with a photo stop and shopping for 1 hour at the famous Petronas Twin Towers. Finally, visit a cocoa boutique before returning to your hotel at approximately 5pm.
